Terms of Service
Last updated September 9, 2026.
These terms govern your use of runwhatmatters.com. If you're a client, they sit alongside — and where they conflict, are superseded by — your signed statement of work and mutual NDA, which control your actual engagement.
1. Use of this site
This site is provided to inform prospective clients about RunWhatMatters' services and to route qualified inquiries into a scoping conversation. You agree not to scrape, reverse-engineer, or misuse the site's forms, booking system, or content beyond that purpose.
2. No public price calculator, no binding quote from the site
Nothing on this website — including any stat, price band, or example — constitutes a binding quote. Real pricing is confirmed in a written, signed statement of work following a scoping engagement (see our process).
3. Engagements are governed by a signed SOW
Any actual engineering engagement — fixed-fee, time-and-materials, or equity+cash — is governed by its own signed statement of work. That document controls scope, deliverables, payment terms, intellectual-property assignment, and termination for that engagement. These website terms do not modify a signed SOW.
4. Intellectual property in this site
The design, copy, and code of runwhatmatters.com are the property of RunWhatMatters, Inc., except where explicitly licensed (e.g., open-source components used to build the site itself). Client work product IP assignment — ownership, escrow, and repo handover — is addressed per-engagement in the relevant SOW, not on this public site.
5. No warranty on site content
We keep this site accurate to the best of our ability, but it's provided "as is." Case study metrics, when published, are supplied and verified by the named or anonymized client and reflect a specific engagement's outcome — not a guarantee of results for any other engagement.
6. Third-party links
Links to third-party sites (a calendar-booking provider, social profiles, partner or certification bodies) are provided for convenience. We don't control and aren't responsible for their content or practices.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, RunWhatMatters is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website. This section does not limit liability arising from a signed SOW, which is governed by that document's own terms.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
9. Changes
We may update these terms as the site and our services evolve. The date at the top of this page reflects the last revision.
